Emprise Bank, a $2.4 billion community bank headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, needed to modernize lending to better serve customers and scale growth. Disparate, legacy loan systems created duplicate data entry, slow cycle times, poor portfolio visibility and a weak digital application experience, so the bank sought a single, cloud-based end-to-end loan operating system to improve speed, transparency and customer experience.

Emprise went live on nCino’s Bank Operating System in March 2020, gaining CRM, configurable dashboards, a Document Manager, Customer Portal and auto-decisioning in one platform. The result: commercial time-to-close fell from 60 to 38 days, retail loan cycles dropped from 20 to 14 days, roughly 40% of consumer transactions are auto-approved (average decision ~5 minutes), and the bank achieved better risk visibility, employee productivity and a fully electronic loan process.
