Recognise Bank, headquartered in London, UK, was formed to serve the UK SME sector and retail and business savings markets with a relationship-led, digitally enabled proposition. As one of the UK’s newest SME banks, it needed a foundational digital end-to-end loan origination system that could improve the customer journey, speed up time-to-cash, support growth, and let Relationship Managers spend more time with clients. It also wanted a platform that could be configured for SME lending and help launch new products faster.

Recognise Bank went live on nCino’s Bank Operating System with the Commercial Banking Solution in November 2020. nCino helped the bank reduce manual data entry, eliminate paper files, and give Relationship Managers more time with clients; they now spend 80% of their time with customers. Recognise also completes complex real estate transactions three times faster than the industry standard, tested and launched a commercial buy-to-let offering in seven weeks instead of 7 months, and gave customers a faster, more transparent loan experience.
