Dieterich Bank, a 114-year-old community bank in southcentral Illinois, was working to stay relevant in a competitive market while improving efficiency across a growing number of systems after a series of acquisitions. In 2018, the bank turned to nCino to modernize commercial banking operations and support customer onboarding, account opening, loan origination, and portfolio management.

Using nCino’s Commercial Banking Solution and later nCino Mortgage, Dieterich Bank consolidated loan-related work into one platform and improved collaboration across teams. In 2023, it adopted nCino’s Automated Spreading Solution and self-implemented it in just eight weeks, helping reduce repetitive data entry, improve accuracy, and speed decisioning and time to close.
