Major Consultancy Organization, a large professional services firm with 250,000 users and complex regulatory obligations, needed help migrating its Security Operations Center (SOC) and two data centers to the cloud. After the move, the organization faced compatibility issues with its existing SOC and operational processes, making it difficult to see and respond to incidents effectively. NCC Group was brought in to support the transition.

Over a four-month engagement, NCC Group’s cloud experts integrated the on-premises SOC teams into the cloud, including threat modeling, harmonized incident response plans and standard operating procedures, identity protection testing and remediation, MITRE-based use case development, and third-party validation for go-live. NCC Group also advised on the Azure security roadmap and liaised with cloud providers on the customer’s behalf.
