Meeting Traceability Requirements of Renowned Global Brands

COINDU, a global manufacturer of automotive leather seat covers, faced a significant quality challenge at its Romania facility. The complexity of distinguishing between left and right car seat covers and validating their assembly exceeded the capabilities of their existing IT traceability systems. They required a new solution to integrate machine, IoT, and manual input data to ensure proper assembly and meet the high traceability demands of their automotive clients.

NC-Vision analyzed these requirements and provided a customized traceability software solution. The vendor implemented the system in a record time of just over two weeks, which was tested and put into productive operation in a single day. The solution resolved the assembly validation problem, improved product quality and customer satisfaction, and has since been rolled out to other production lines and locations.
