Texas Society of Association Executives (TSAE) needed a way to refresh its print magazine and better connect it to the association brand. Ad sales were declining, member article participation had dropped, and TSAE lacked a clear brand strategy, while also having limited staff and resources to manage a major publication overhaul. Naylor Association Solutions worked with TSAE on its magazine, Association Leadership, and broader publication strategy.
Naylor Association Solutions helped TSAE complete a full brand refresh, create magazine style guidelines, revamp the content strategy, and launch a companion microsite for the publication. The new approach made it easier to plan content, sell bundled print and digital ads, share articles, and repurpose content for social channels. As a result, TSAE saw a 12% year-over-year increase in ad sales and a 12% increase in annual conference attendance, along with positive feedback on the refreshed magazine and website.
