Elabo, a leading provider of technical workstation systems, faced the challenge of planning a major 14,000 square meter facility expansion. To overcome this, they turned to vendor NavVis for a digital factory solution.

NavVis implemented a solution using their M6 mobile mapping system and IndoorViewer software, integrated with IPO.log. This allowed Elabo to scan the entire facility quickly, create a digital twin, and simulate new layouts. The results included a significantly smoother and faster transition with minimized production disruption. The digital model also served as a tool for virtual training and transparent communication, ultimately equipping Elabo to offer this same digital factory service to their own customers.
