Safeline is a UK charity supporting survivors of sexual abuse and rape. Its ambition was constrained by an aging on‑premises IT setup—just two phone lines, mismatched software and an outdated server—that prevented remote working, caused missed calls and paperwork, and made secure handling of sensitive data difficult.

Working with SRD Technology UK and Navisite, Safeline moved to a managed cloud environment (DaaS, cloud telephony, Office 365, thin clients and hosted apps) with Tier‑III data centre backups and business‑continuity services. The switch delivered zero downtime, rapid remote onboarding, growth from 5 to 19 staff without extra office space, thousands more people supported, about £40–50k annual savings, and a new £150k/year national helpline contract.
