PHI Helipass, a SaaS provider spun out of PHI Group, delivers travel and logistics solutions for the energy sector but was running its Oracle-based core services in a shared on‑premises data center that couldn’t scale to meet growth or international expansion needs. Needing 24/7 availability and faster performance, the Microsoft‑centric company chose Microsoft Azure and engaged Navisite to migrate its Oracle workloads to the cloud.

Navisite conducted a comprehensive pre‑migration assessment, built Azure Windows VMs, installed and validated Oracle services with pre‑production POC testing, and executed a lift‑and‑shift migration as phase one of a two‑phase plan. The move delivered faster database performance, higher availability, and easier scalability, enabling faster innovation and positioning PHI Helipass to refactor off Oracle and adopt Azure‑native tools in phase two.
