Communications & Power Industries’ TMD Technologies Division is a global leader in microwave and RF products that, after CPI acquired TMD in July 2021, needed to modernize and fully integrate TMD’s legacy systems (Sage financials and an Infor manufacturing system) into CPI’s JD Edwards ERP to enable enterprise-wide visibility, standardized KPIs and better decision-making—requiring strong change management and a culturally aligned implementation partner.

Navisite performed a deep assessment, mapped and migrated cleaned data, tailored JD Edwards to CPI TMD’s use cases, and supported pilots, UAT and hypercare for a May 2023 go-live. The migration came in under budget, produced a seamless transition with few post-migration issues, enabled real-time consolidated reporting and accurate forecasting, and saw the first product assembled, shipped and invoiced through JD Edwards within two days of go-live.
