Finding a Cloud Services Partner to Grow With

Pomeroy, a Cincinnati-based IT services firm that provides managed infrastructure, professional and staffing services to mid-market and enterprise clients, needed to move from a partially virtualized environment to a full cloud model. After finding its previous provider could only offer physical space and assets, Pomeroy sought a flexible, growth-oriented partner with a shared customer-focused culture to help it stop owning physical computing assets and expand cloud-based services.

Pomeroy partnered with Navisite, transferring its enterprise equipment to Navisite’s managed hosting and using Navisite as the underlying cloud platform while Pomeroy layered on field technicians and service-desk capabilities. Within a year the companies won four new customers, Pomeroy realized $3–5 million in increased revenue, and clients reported a seamless, unified service experience; Pomeroy is now piloting additional Navisite services.
