ASOS, a leading global online-only fashion and beauty retailer experiencing rapid expansion (30%+ year‑on‑year growth and millions of monthly visitors), faced mounting IT challenges: its aging in‑house testing and development infrastructure could not scale to meet demand, new international offices were time‑consuming to provision, and using overseas developers raised security and access-control concerns.

ASOS partnered with Navisite to deploy NaviCloud IaaS and NaviCloud Desktops (DaaS), migrating development and key production systems to the cloud and giving remote contractors secure virtual desktops with granular controls. As a result, test-environment provisioning fell from two weeks to under one day, time to move from testing to production shrank from 16 weeks to two days, multiple daily releases became possible, and ASOS gained improved security, agility and cost accountability while supporting global growth.
