Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford is one of the world’s largest global wholesale and reinsurance brokers. Rapid global growth and acquisitions exposed limits in its decentralized IT model, creating challenges around resilience, security, scalability, consistent global collaboration and timely access to client and market data.

CGSC partnered with Navisite to centralize infrastructure and deliver collaboration and communication tools (modern intranet, group email/archiving, instant messaging, secure mobile platform) hosted in SSAE16 UK datacenters with EU-only data residency, plus managed network services and an OPEX billing model. The move improved information sharing and client insight, strengthened security and compliance, consolidated costs, accelerated migration (51 of 62 sites moved) and gave the company greater agility to scale, repurpose resources and pursue cloud and DaaS initiatives.
