Ankura Consulting migrates hundreds of VMs to Azure ahead of deadline with Navisite

Ankura Consulting, a global expert services firm, faced a major IT decision when its London data center required a costly upgrade. They needed to either refresh their on-premises infrastructure or modernize by migrating to the public cloud. Ankura selected Microsoft Azure as its cloud provider and partnered with Navisite to execute the complex migration.

Navisite provided a flexible migration strategy, moving Ankura's entire data center environment—including SQL servers, hundreds of VMs, and petabytes of data—to Azure. The migration was completed ahead of schedule. As a result, Ankura gained significant flexibility, can now meet new workload demands quickly with pre-built templates, and has better visibility into and control over cloud costs. Navisite's ongoing support and partnership were key to the project's success.
