Empowering Educators to Respond in a Crisis With ALICE Training®

Oxford Academy, an all-boys boarding school, faced the challenge of preparing its community for a violent critical incident (VCI). While the school had robust safety protocols for other events, its faculty was uncomfortable and unprepared for active shooter scenarios, a vulnerability highlighted after experiencing a real incident on campus. To address this, they turned to Navigate360 and its ALICE Active Shooter Response Training.

Navigate360's comprehensive, two-day ALICE Training® program provided a trauma-informed, options-based approach to crisis response. The solution empowered the Dean of Students with the certification and strategies to train his colleagues, fundamentally changing the school's approach to situational awareness. The result was a regained sense of control and preparedness, with Navigate360 providing continued support for implementation.
