A Navigate360 Case Study
Douglas Unified School District (DUSD), a large rural district in Arizona, faced significant challenges in its emergency management. Coordinating responses across eight schools was slow and inefficient, relying on radios and phone calls that provided no real-time data or accountability for staff. The district also struggled with the time-consuming, in-person delivery of mandatory ALICE Active Shooter Response Training to over 400 staff members, leading to gaps in preparedness.
By implementing the Navigate360 Emergency Management suite, DUSD empowered its staff with a centralized, tech-driven solution. The platform provided real-time communication, accountability tools, and streamlined online training. This resulted in staff being able to account for all students and personnel in minutes instead of hours during drills. The solution also integrated panic buttons that automatically alert 911, which was successfully used during a real medical emergency to facilitate a rapid response. Navigate360 provided DUSD with a comprehensive framework that built a confident, safety-first culture and drastically improved emergency preparedness.
