URS CERTIFICARI, a leading Romanian certification and inspection body, needed a secure, flexible way to manage hundreds of confidential policies and procedures while ensuring oversight for legal and HR compliance. Senior leaders required strict access controls, verifiable records of employee reads/signatures, and anytime access across devices to reduce human error and support external audits.

URS implemented NAVEX PolicyTech to centralize and automate policy and procedure management with layered security, PDF-only views, access controls, and read/attestation tracking. Since 2019 roughly 80% of staff engage with the system, 3,000–4,000 documents have been uploaded, and the company reports time savings (up to 59, 45 and 36 employee hours in key areas) and about $4,264 in direct savings, while improving accessibility and audit readiness.
