A NAVEX Case Study
St. Joseph’s Indian School, a nearly 100-year non-profit residential school serving Native American students with about 350 employees, faced decentralized policies stored in personal drives, shared folders and binders. That fragmentation caused version-control problems, duplicative work, departmental silos and difficulty creating consistent templates—issues made more urgent by the school’s 24/7 operations where quick access to procedures (especially for medical and mental-health events) is critical.
By implementing NAVEX PolicyTech® for centralized policy and procedure management, staff can quickly search and access current documents (even on mobile), link and auto-update templates with the Properties Wizard, and see who is working on what. The system reduced duplication, improved documentation and compliance, preserved institutional knowledge, increased transparency across departments, and helped ensure consistent care and faster decision-making; roughly half the organization is live today with plans for full rollout.
