A NAVEX Case Study
Highland Rivers Health, one of Georgia’s largest behavioral healthcare providers with 36 facilities and nearly 700 employees, was hamstrung by a paper-based policy system. Policies were kept locally by site “keepers,” required a team to convert and upload documents, and suffered long delays, version-control headaches and difficulty producing evidence for accreditation reviews.
Highland Rivers implemented NAVEX PolicyTech integrated with its incident management system to create a centralized, automated repository for 1,200+ policies, accreditation documents and hotline reports. Role-based assignments, cross-referencing for standards, and streamlined reporting improved accessibility and audit readiness, reduced anonymous reporting from 80% to 32%, and helped foster a more responsive, scalable culture of compliance.
