Pilot Company needed a stronger risk and compliance program to keep pace with rapid growth, meet Berkshire Hathaway’s standards, and improve visibility into compliance data. With limited historical compliance resources and inconsistent reporting and investigations, Pilot turned to NAVEX and its NAVEX One platform, including whistleblowing, incident management, training, and third-party screening tools.
NAVEX helped Pilot build a data-driven compliance function with dedicated teams, customized training, automated third-party due diligence, and improved hotline awareness. The results include over 99% training completion in 2022 and 2023, a 99.6% target exceeded in 2024, no backlog in third-party screening, and more than 70,000 third parties vetted annually. Pilot also reduced case closure times to about 11 days and says NAVEX One saves hours of work, handling at least 80% of reporting and dashboarding tasks.
