A Nautilus Labs Case Study

Preview of the Eastern Pacific Shipping Case Study

Eastern Pacific Shipping leverages Nautilus to reduce its carbon footprint and optimize voyage profit uplifts

Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS), a leading Singapore-based shipping company, sought to improve the efficiency and sustainability of its fleet operations. They partnered with Nautilus Labs and deployed the Nautilus Platform to reduce fuel waste and make data-driven decisions in real-time, aiming to enhance both profitability and environmental performance.

Nautilus Labs provided its Voyage Optimization solution, which uses AI and machine learning to analyze real-time vessel performance, weather, and route data to provide operating recommendations. This implementation saved EPS 30.5 MT of fuel and 95 MT of CO2 emissions on a single voyage, while also achieving a 4% uplift in TCE and $43K in net fuel cost savings, even after an unplanned stop.
