Butterfly Conservation launches WildSpaces on time with Natural Apptitude to create 100,000+ wild spaces

Butterfly Conservation faced the challenge of severe declines in UK butterfly and moth populations. Their business goals were to halve the number of threatened species and create over 100,000 new wild spaces, while also raising awareness among urban and minority groups. They needed a portal to educate these audiences and allow users to register their own wild spaces, which led them to partner with vendor Natural Apptitude to build the Wild Spaces website.

Natural Apptitude collected user data to design tailored user journeys and developed a streamlined roadmap for a minimum viable product. They validated concepts by user-testing prototypes with a diverse range of users. The solution was delivered on time for internal testing and a soft launch, providing Butterfly Conservation with a tool to further spread awareness and help conservation efforts.
