One Love tells the story of relationship violence

One Love, a nonprofit that uses powerful videos, workshops and social campaigns to teach young people to recognize and prevent relationship abuse, needed to scale outreach, reframe the conversation around “relationship abuse,” and get better at messaging and data-driven outreach on a start-up budget. To do that they turned to NationBuilder for a website and integrated tools to pull data, identify trends, and amplify their digital storytelling.

Using NationBuilder’s platform to connect its Escalation Workshops and #ThatsNotLove campaigns, One Love was able to leverage social media and on-campus organizing more effectively; the campaign saw a record 302 workshops during Domestic Violence Awareness Month with 12,679 participants, along with broad online engagement driven by shareable videos and peer-led events. NationBuilder’s baseline tools helped One Love build a brand and movement while measuring real-world impact.
