National Bloc brings Beirut citizens emergency aid and the tools for democracy

National Bloc, a Lebanese political party working to advance a prosperous, green, and fair Lebanon, faced extraordinary challenges in 2019–2020: a mass political revolution, the COVID‑19 pandemic, and the devastating Beirut port explosion. To coordinate fast-moving demands, emergency relief, and ongoing civic engagement, National Bloc grounded their digital organizing on NationBuilder, using its action pages, petition and microsite tools to rapidly mobilize supporters.

Using NationBuilder’s built‑in petition, volunteer sign‑up, and email tools, National Bloc launched a coalition microsite in three hours, created a volunteer form within 24 hours to staff a converted rescue center, and sent personalized leader‑from emails that achieved a 40% average open rate. The NationBuilder‑enabled campaign helped assist 590 volunteers and serve 6,100+ community members, increased two‑way supporter engagement, and provided a durable platform for pre‑election organizing.
