How Saskatchewan Union of Nurses made the difference

The Saskatchewan Union of Nurses faced budget-driven hospital staffing cuts that threatened thousands of RN positions and needed a focused digital home for a year‑long public awareness campaign. Working with cStreet Campaigns, they launched a NationBuilder‑powered site, Making the Difference, to centralize video, testimonials, research and campaign content while avoiding political friction during bargaining.

Using NationBuilder, the vendor built a multimedia, conservative digital strategy with four landing pages, patient‑journey pages, repurposed TV spots, and coordinated print and display ads to drive engagement and sign‑ups. The integrated campaign helped defend 2,000 jobs and represented 9,000 RNs, produced modest list growth, and gave SUN a shareable platform to amplify member stories and influence public opinion.
