How Animal Victory is changing the face of animal welfare one signature at a time

Animal Victory, founded by Janelle Babington and Penny Eims, set out to stop the mistreatment of animals by collecting signatures to influence prosecutors, judges, and policymakers. After a DIY site proved ineffective, they turned to NationBuilder and a NationBuilder design partner to build a purpose-built petition and fundraising website.

Using NationBuilder’s platform—petition and donation action pages, supporter tracking via recruiter IDs, and integrated outreach tools—Animal Victory collected about 150,000 signatures across 48 petitions in the first six months, raised more than $25,000, and gained roughly 10,000 new subscribers per month. NationBuilder enabled a fast launch, measurable supporter engagement, and scalable fundraising to fuel their ongoing advocacy.
