Think Big, Telefónica’s employee-focused social impact programme, needed a way to mobilise staff to tackle youth unemployment, close the digital skills gap and address climate change. Working with Brand Response and built on NationBuilder, the MyThinkBig.co.uk platform was created to engage employees across the UK and surface volunteering, mentoring and skills‑sharing opportunities.

NationBuilder powered a tailored solution—MyThinkBig.co.uk—with custom navigation, skill/time filters, map listings, NationBuilder “point people”, custom permission sets and follow‑up features, plus a snowflake organising model to empower regional champions. The platform enabled over 11,000 interested UK employees to find and join opportunities, driving stronger grassroots ownership, deeper engagement and a scalable toolkit for Think Big’s ongoing mobilisation.
