WireFlow Scales Infrastructure Logging with NI Technology

WireFlow, a Swedish provider of test and measurement solutions, faced the challenge of capturing synchronized, high-resolution sensor data across large, harsh industrial environments for its clients in the power and infrastructure sectors. Existing systems were difficult to scale, lacked precise timing, and often failed under noisy conditions. They worked with National Instruments to build a next-generation, modular data logging system using NI technology.

The solution developed with National Instruments leveraged NI CompactRIO and CompactDAQ hardware with C Series I/O modules and NI DIAdem software to create the Lundby Data Logger. This system provided a reliable, scalable, and durable platform capable of microsecond-level synchronization and high-speed data acquisition. The results included a successful deployment at a major Swedish power plant, where the system monitors thousands of channels with robust data integrity, reduced maintenance overhead, and more efficient analysis workflows.
