Using NI LabVIEW and NI CompactRIO to Create a Liver Dialysis Prototype Authorized for Clinical Trials in Germany

Hepa Wash GmbH, a medical device company, faced the challenge of creating a cost-effective liver dialysis prototype that met strict performance specifications and could achieve medical device safety certification under IEC 60601 and IEC 62304 guidelines for clinical trials in Germany.
