A National Instruments Case Study
Elettronica GmbH needed to develop a cost-efficient, compact device capable of continuously recording electronic signal intelligence (ELINT) with 80 MHz bandwidth and performing real-time pulse analysis. The challenge was to overcome the traditional gap between tactical and analytical systems for electronic reconnaissance.
National Instruments provided the solution using their NI FlexRIO modules, high-performance digitizers, and LabVIEW software. This resulted in the CESAR 80, a flexible device that delivers fast analysis and extensive digital recording, making it a core component for modern tactical ELINT systems and enabling future expansion to 600 MHz bandwidth.
