TBWA Unleashes Creative Talent with Nasuni’s Global File System

TBWA, a global creative agency in the Omnicom Group with hundreds of offices worldwide, was hampered by a fragmented, siloed file infrastructure: duplicated creative assets, inconsistent backups (many still on tape), poor RPO/RTO, rising storage costs, and heavy local IT overhead that slowed collaboration across geographies.

TBWA implemented Nasuni UniFS on private object storage with Nasuni edge appliances caching active files at each site, creating a global namespace with LAN-like performance while master copies live in object storage. The deployment (about 90 appliances, ~2.9 PB capacity) eliminated tape backups and redundant copies, lowered and stabilized storage costs, improved recovery times and security, and centralized file management so creatives and IT can collaborate and operate more efficiently.
