Preview of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Case Study

How the Stock Exchange of Thailand is modernizing its capital markets with the help of Nasdaq technology

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) sought to modernize its core operating system to meet future growth demands and maintain its leadership in the Asian capital markets. To address the rapid transformation of global financial ecosystems and improve capabilities for its investors and members, the exchange partnered with technology vendor Nasdaq.

Nasdaq implemented a comprehensive upgrade, integrating its trading, data, market surveillance, pre-trade risk management, and index calculation technologies. This solution resulted in significant performance improvements, including an average roundtrip latency of under 40 microseconds, and provided the exchange with a more resilient, scalable platform to support increased transaction volumes and new investment products.
