Cartier launches 26 active innovation solutions with Nansen

Cartier, a prestigious global jewelry and luxury goods retailer, faced a challenge common in the luxury sector: a historical under-investment in digital technology. To cultivate internal innovation, Cartier established several internal "Labs," including a Retail Lab tasked with developing new customer services and tools. The vendor Nansen was brought in to support this Retail Lab in its efforts to develop ideas, collaborate across global markets, and successfully launch new retail innovations.

Nansen implemented a solution to streamline the efforts of Cartier's Retail Solutions Development team, helping to avoid redundancies and wasted resources across the global brand. This support was crucial for the launch of the Retail Solutions Hub and the STAGE prototype boutique. The results positioned Cartier as a first-mover in luxury retail technology, delivering an enhanced total experience. Measurable outcomes included 26 active innovation solutions, 7 new solutions awaiting deployment, and 602 boutique reservations made through the STAGE program.
