Transport to Kenya with Nanonation's Latest Augmented Reality Experience

The Magic House, St. Louis Children's Museum partnered with Nanonation to elevate visitor engagement in its new Kenya's Kids exhibit. Seeking to make the Masai Mara sculptures more interactive and to help children discover life around the globe, the museum engaged Nanonation to deliver an Augmented Reality (AR) experience with 3‑D rendering, deployed on Microsoft Surface devices.

Nanonation implemented an AR photo experience that lets visitors snap the elephant, giraffe, monkey and lioness sculptures to trigger 3‑D rendered animals in their habitat, along with swipeable species and lifecycle facts. The Nanonation solution brought the animals to life in the gallery, enhancing hands‑on learning, increasing visitor interaction, and helping The Magic House achieve its goal of sparking kids’ imagination and fostering a lifelong love of learning.
