A Nanonation Case Study
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission engaged Nanonation to design interactive exhibits for the fully renovated Schramm Education Center at Schramm State Park. The primary challenge was blending sleek, modern digital interactives and games with the building’s original 100‑year‑old materials, while determining optimal screen placement, visitor interactions, and how best to convey the hatchery’s historical and educational story.
Nanonation’s in‑house design team conducted site visits and research, presented six fishing game concepts, and refined designs through three iterative review rounds to produce a unified, branded suite of digital interactives. The result is a cohesive set of touchscreen experiences—including the Lake Stocking interactive—selected by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission to engage visitors and communicate the hatchery’s history, with concrete deliverables of six game options and multiple design iterations completed.
