Nanigans worked with an eCommerce Company on a large Facebook mobile app install campaign, where the customer was seeing high Day 1 CPI because many users were not opening the app within 24 hours of download. To better measure performance and plan spend, the company needed a way to account for the lag between install and app open using Nanigans’ Performance Analysis and Custom Metrics tools.
Nanigans implemented a custom CPI formula inside Ad Engine, allowing the eCommerce Company to calculate predictive cost per install based on Day 1 installs and adjust bids without manual spreadsheet work. The result was more accurate performance measurement, better budgeting and bidding, and the ability to justify increased daily mobile budget internally.
