RCI improves its accounting process by upgrading its Khisoft Magic-based system

Renaissance Capital Inc., a Montreal-based independent dealer in the Immigrant Investor Programs, faced operational inefficiencies after recent changes to its banking and accounting processes. To modernize its Khisoft Magic–based accounting and database system (migrating from Magic 8 to UniPaaS) RCI engaged Namtek Consulting Services to upgrade and align the software with the new internal workflows.

Namtek Consulting Services duplicated the legacy system, developed and tested an upgraded UniPaaS-based solution, and implemented new functionalities to support RCI’s revised accounting processes. The result: accounting entries became much easier, double work was largely eliminated, employees were comfortable with the new system within a week or two, and RCI saw increased efficiency, reduced errors, and time and cost savings.
