Town of Erie upgrades a 96 kW rooftop solar system with Namaste Solar

The Town of Erie faced a challenge when it needed to replace the roof on its Leon Wurl Service Center building. Although the existing solar system installed by Namaste Solar in 2010 was still operational, the town wanted to upgrade to modern equipment that would be more space-efficient during the re-roofing project.

Namaste Solar implemented a solution by de-installing the old system and re-installing a new 96 kW system of the same size. The new, modern equipment from Namaste Solar required significantly less space, occupying only a portion of one roof surface instead of the two full roof surfaces needed by the previous system. This allowed the Town of Erie to achieve its goal of a more efficient and compact solar array while getting a new roof.
