Killington Ski Resort powers a 660 kW solar farm with Namaste Solar

Namaste Solar was hired by Killington Ski Resort, one of Vermont's largest ski areas, to develop a clean energy solution. The challenge was to create a solar farm that would provide power to the resort while navigating complex development and regulatory hurdles.

Namaste Solar developed, engineered, procured, and constructed a 660 kW ground-mounted solar farm for the resort. The solution included strategic siting near existing power infrastructure and careful landscaping to minimize visual impact. The project was successfully commissioned in the fall of 2017, providing Killington with a source of renewable energy. Namaste Solar also holds the operations and maintenance contract for the system.
