Institution des Eaux de la Montagne Noire (IEMN), a water management institution serving the Lauragais region in southwest France, operates two sites with five physical servers and 36 virtual machines that host critical databases, web apps and Microsoft Active Directory. With strict budget constraints and a need for fast, reliable VM backup and recovery to ensure uninterrupted water services, IEMN found its previous backup vendor too expensive and unable to support daily backups and rapid restores.

IEMN deployed NAKIVO Backup & Replication on its existing QNAP NAS, leveraging forever-incremental backups, network acceleration, VMware CBT, instant file/object and Exchange recovery, and Active Directory integration.
