Nordcurrent, an international video game developer and publisher, needed a simpler way to protect its VMware-based environment with 82 virtual machines and critical assets like source code and communication servers. NAKIVO implemented daily and weekly incremental VMware backups on Nordcurrent’s Synology NAS, along with global deduplication, cloud backup to Amazon S3, and instant VM and granular recovery. As a result, Nordcurrent reduced storage use, lowered network load, and cut recovery time dramatically—restoring a major VM issue in a few hours instead of weeks.
