NAKIVO Helps Media Company with Disaster Recovery Orchestration

Guardian Media, a Trinidad and Tobago multimedia company with print, radio, TV, and digital operations, needed a better way to protect its 4-site, 70-VM environment after site-to-site replication became costly, slow, and difficult to manage. The company was also looking for a solution compatible with the latest VMware updates and easier to operate, so it turned to NAKIVO Backup & Replication.

NAKIVO implemented Backup & Replication with Site Recovery to streamline backups, automate reporting, and support faster failover/failback. Backup times were cut from about 7 hours to around 3 hours, nightly incremental backups took about 3 hours, and Guardian Media was able to move its virtual infrastructure to a new environment with very little downtime and no business impact. NAKIVO also helped the company achieve simpler disaster recovery orchestration with no data loss during recovery.
