NAKIVO Delivers Storage Space Savings of 75% for The Oxford Partnership

The Oxford Partnership (TOP) is a collaboration of three international colleges operating four women’s campuses across Saudi Arabia, each serving over 2,000 students. Facing unstable power in remote sites and a prior reliance on USB drives, TOP needed dependable, image-based VM backup and fast recovery across four VMware vSphere clusters to ensure 24/7 availability of directory, file, print and student-record systems.

With Cutter Group’s recommendation, TOP deployed NAKIVO Backup & Replication as a preconfigured virtual appliance, enabling parallel, site-specific backup jobs, scheduled verification and space reclaim. Global data deduplication reduced backup storage requirements by about 75%, Instant VM Recovery shortened restore windows, and the centralized, scalable solution simplified management—improving recoverability and allowing more retention points without significant additional storage.
