NAKIVO Cuts VM Backup Time by 2.5X and Improves Visibility for a Health Center

Southern Surgery and Urology Center, a ten-physician clinic in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, needed a reliable VM backup and disaster-recovery strategy as it moved key systems onto VMware vSphere ESXi. Their previous cloud-based, file-level backups were slow (2–3 hours nightly), lacked verification and clear reporting, and left the single-site practice vulnerable to weather-related outages and data unavailability for critical medical software.

The center deployed NAKIVO Backup & Replication to back up VMware VMs onsite and copy backups offsite to an external NAS.
