ASE Streamlines IT Environments By Switching to Nagios XI

The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), Jordan’s regulated securities market operator, needed a secure, robust monitoring solution to support trading across three data centers with active/active replication and N+1 redundancy. ASE had been using several open-source tools (including Nagios Core) but faced growing complexity, heavy manual command-line configuration, and the risk of human error, so the organization selected Nagios XI from Nagios for a supported, customizable monitoring platform.

Nagios implemented Nagios XI with NRPE/NCPA agents, Ansible-driven node configuration, SMS alerting, dashboards and countless plugins to centralize monitoring of servers, networks, applications and device ports. ASE grew from 200 Nagios XI nodes monitoring ~2,000 services to 300 nodes covering ~4,000 services, gaining real-time visibility, proactive alerts, faster troubleshooting and reduced manual effort — materially improving reliability and control of its trading infrastructure.
