The customer, a Swedish conglomerate specializing in access and identity solutions, faced performance and availability issues with its GitLab instance hosted on an AWS EC2 instance due to a significant increase in user numbers. Nagarro partnered with the client to modernize this critical infrastructure by migrating it to a more scalable platform.

Nagarro implemented a solution by migrating GitLab to AWS EKS (Kubernetes) using HELM charts, with infrastructure managed by Terraform. This resulted in a highly available and scalable system with one-click environment provisioning and automated upgrades. The project significantly improved DevOps metrics, including Mean Time to Recover, and eliminated infrastructure downtime.
