ÖBB-Postbus GmbH, part of the ÖBB Group and Austria’s largest bus company, needed to streamline the manual, paper-based process for inspecting new and replacement buses and creating acceptance reports. The workflow was tedious, time-consuming, error-prone, and poorly streamlined, so ÖBB turned to Nagarro for help with an Assisted Reality-based modernization.

Nagarro implemented a Smart Glass solution that let inspectors document defects using voice commands along with audio, image, and video capture, all managed through a web-based app integrated with the Smart Glass app. The result was a much simpler and faster inspection process, enabling acceptance reports to be generated at the touch of a button and increasing annual bus acceptances by 30%.
