Software Development for the World’s Largest Provider of Postal Services

Deutsche Post, the world’s largest postal and international courier service provider, needed a more efficient, up-to-date solution to support its growing customer base and transition to a service-oriented architecture. To meet the new UDDI standard, Deutsche Post worked with N-iX on the development and deployment of an updated Novell UDDI Server.

N-iX used an extreme programming approach, including pair programming, test-driven development, and continuous integration, to deliver the solution on time and on budget. The system was successfully deployed at Deutsche Post and later released to the open-source community, helping improve scalability and security for the company.
