Leveraging OpenText Exstream 16.2 in the Insurance Industry

A large insurance company merged with another insurer and needed to migrate to OpenText Exstream 16.2 while integrating content assets from two different CCM systems without disrupting customer communications. N-iX was brought in to help unify the company’s StreamServe and HP Exstream environments into a single platform.

N-iX designed and implemented a new architecture that combined both solutions in Exstream 16.2, using OTDS, Communications Builder, and a central CAS repository to preserve existing functionality and enable parallel document generation. As a result, the customer kept all key features from both systems, streamlined operations, and saved significant time and resources while gaining access to newer Exstream 16.2 capabilities.
