Leveraging OpenText Exstream 16.2 in the Insurance Industry

A large insurance company that had merged with another insurer needed to migrate and combine content assets from two different CCM systems without disrupting customer communications. The challenge was to integrate their existing StreamServe setup with the parent company’s HP Exstream platform using OpenText Exstream 16.2, while avoiding gaps during the ERP and document management transition.

N-iX designed and implemented a unified architecture in OpenText Exstream 16.2, upgrading and connecting both environments through OTDS, Communications Builder, and shared repositories. As a result, the customer preserved the features of both HP Exstream and StreamServe, enabled parallel document generation and new management web apps, and streamlined operations while saving significant time and resources.
